About Copart
Copart is one of the largest online vehicle auctions in North America. It sells insurance write-offs, repossessions, fleet and dealer cars, and every lot comes with a damage description, a title type and a gallery of yard photos.
MotorAPIs reads every Copart lot and keeps each change: new lots, bids, Buy Now prices, the seller reserve when it is shown, and the final bid once the sale is over. Sold lots move to the archive, so you can price a car by what similar ones really sold for.

Questions about the Copart API
- What Copart data does the API return?
- Every active lot with VIN, vehicle details, damage, title, odometer, location, sale date and photos, plus the current bid, the Buy Now price, the seller reserve when it is available and the final bid after the sale.
- Can I bid on Copart through MotorAPIs?
- No. MotorAPIs only returns data. Bidding happens on Copart itself or through a registered broker.
- Is the seller reserve the price a car sold for?
- No. The seller reserve is the minimum the seller asked for, when Copart shows it. The sale result is the final bid, which arrives after the auction and stays in the archive.
- How do I keep my own copy of Copart lots up to date?
- Ask /cars with minutes=60 every hour for lots that changed, and /archived-lots with minutes=60 for lots that left the auction. The sync guide in the docs shows the full loop.
- How can I try it?
- Ask for a free demo key. It returns real data in the same JSON as the paid plans.
